I don’t always have time to write or reflect on everything that goes on from day to day just trying to keep a small non profit alive.

With all the things going on in the world something as small as making a little ceramic object seems ridiculous almost and asking for money seems even more ridiculous when people need to be fed and housed and there’s words going on and abuse and everything like that.

We run on a few hands and very little money and still seem to be able to get a thousand art projects out of year.

Art in itself is a healing modality. it gives you the time and space away from your problems to focus on making something. it gives you that ability to connect with your Divine self and the universe or whatever you believe in. it gives you a quiet space in your head.

Pottery and clay on the other hand take it to a whole other level. the reason why humans have evolved into what we are now is because of pottery and we know this because of pottery. touching clay is connecting you to the past into your future. anything you make today can be found in a thousand years and it can be your story that they find. maybe that’s why I like to make stories on my ceramics.

Being able to share this with people has been special. I love watching people open up as they work and talk and we’ve gone through deep things, especially when I can work one on one with somebody, not even meaning to, but it really just gets it all out of you and into what you’re working with. that’s what makes a lot of pieces of mine so magical is because it’s going straight from everything I am into what I’m making and seeing other people develop those skills is wonderful.

Pottery, yoga, music and belly dance is what keeps my brain from going crazy with everything that’s going on and the world and the environment.

sacred arts isn’t just about religion it’s about taking these practices of art and music and pottery and belly dance that are ancient practices and utilizing them today so we can further ourselves into the future.

With a better understanding mind body and soul of who we are where we came from and where we need to go and the boundaries that we can break whether it’s mental or physical through practicing sacred arts.

My partner and I are looking for a home in Vermont.  I really want to be able to continue doing what I do and I will whether or not I have a nonprofit status but being able to find funding for a home a non-profit and a profit business is challenging.

I really want to expand and be able to offer all of it all the time not just 5 to 10 days a month, because it is necessary. to hold classes and workshops regardless of how much you can pay is also the goal. we will find a way, I hope. the business plan is in place.

we are looking for funders, donations, land, housing between Brattleboro and peru

any thoughts, leads, ideas would be welcomed
